If you’ve driven through Wentzville recently, you’ve undoubtedly noticed the tremendous growth of the community, with new home communities, shopping centers, restaurants, parks, recreation areas and more popping up everywhere. What you can’t see are the names behind the progress.
Crossroads Homes has been involved in the development of the Wentzville area for the past two decades.
“Our hearts have always been in the Wentzville area,”said Doug Post, one of the principals of Crossroads. “We grew up here, and enjoy being part of the community’s growth.”
Currently, Crossroads has several new home communities underway in the Wentzville area, including:
• East Hampton Woods, a luxury custom home development in a wooded enclave off of Wilmer Road near Hwy. N.
• The Villages at Huntleigh, offering affordable new single family homes for first time buyers.
• Indian Creek Farms, an equestrian neighborhood adjacent to Indian Camp Creek Park which will have its own indoor riding facilities.
• Stonemoor at the Park, a large-scale, master-planned community off of West Meyer Road, offering a variety of home styles, including single family homes in differing price ranges.
“Huntleigh is one of the most exciting communities to come along in the Wentzville area in years,” explained Rick Boehm, Post’s partner. “We’ve created a neighborhood for first time buyers where they can buy a new home on a wooded cul-de-sac, with a walkout lower level starting in the $130’s!”
The neighborhood is located on Scotti Road, on the site of what used to be the Mid America Raceway, now, transformed into a beautiful neighborhood surrounded with trees and rolling terrain.
Equally exciting to the team is Indian Creek Farms, which they call a “horse lover’s paradise”. The neighborhood, located off Dietrich Road across from Indian Camp Creek Park, offers beautiful luxury homes where the owners can have their horses right there on their property. A community indoor arena makes year-round riding easy, and the neighboring park’s trails offer owners a convenient place to ride without a trailer.
For those who enjoy an active lifestyle, there is no better choice for homebuyers than Stonemoor at The Park, a master-planned community with a wide variety of homestyles, price ranges and amenities.
“There’s something for everyone at Stonemoor,” explained Boehm, “from the young couples starting out, to growing families with lots of kids, to empty nesters. Our choice of products and price ranges makes Stonemoor popular for everyone.”
The location is exceptional, too, directly across from Wentzville’s Rotary Park, with its lake, walking trails, playgrounds, and relaxing atmosphere. Couple that with Stonemoor’s own playground, sports court and two swimming pools, and those seeking activity will certainly find it here.
Also planned is an area of convenient shops and boutiques.
“We envision residents walking down the street to get a cup of coffee in the morning, share an ice cream, or grab a morning paper,” said Boehm, “A small town feeling, with conveniences that everyone would appreciate.”
Kids should absolutely love Stonemoor. There are two swimming pools, a sports court and a playground, not to mention the nearby park.
To reach Stonemoor at the Park, take Wentzville Parkway to West Meyer Road to the entrance on the left.
